Asynchronous memory access unit for general purpose processors

چکیده
In future data centers, applications will make heavy use of far memory (including disaggregated pools and NVM). The access latency is more widely distributed than that local accesses. This makes the efficiency traditional out-of-order load/store mechanism in most general-purpose processors decrease this scenario. Therefore, work proposes an in-core asynchronous unit to fully utilize resources.
